For several months Holly had been fighting a cervical spinal cord problem that progressively affected her ability to walk to the point where she couldn't any longer, even with the use of a cart we had made for her. We did everything that was medically possible for her. On February 5, 2008 my wife and I made the most difficult decision of our lives and let our beloved 13 year old Holly go to a better place while she was still alert and had her dignity. We cannot thank you enough for all the kindness, pats on the head, hugs, treats and kisses that you and your families have shared with her during the 12 years she was at the shop.
She looked forward to going to her job at the shop every
day because of you. Please accept our sincere and heartfelt thanks for all the love and kindness you have given her over the years. We have received hundreds of emails, cards, letters and telephone calls from you expressing your sadness over her loss as well as sharing with us great stories of your pets...past and present. We greatly appreciate this! There will never be another Holly but at some point in the future we are sure that we will add a new member to the family that will enrich our lives as she did. Holly's images will remain a big part of our web site as well as her FRIENDS OF HOLLY page which is extremely popular. Please keep sending us your photos. In the future we will have promotions where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Labrador shelters in her name and yours with the hope that it will help others enjoy the happiness of having their own dog as part of their family. We will also be ordering 1,000 more t-shirts later in 2008 that we will be distributing to her friends that she made....all over the world! (See photo below) Thank you again. Carl and Susie Ingrao
