HANDGUNS THAT YOU CANNOT PURCHASE
We are constantly asked "Can I buy a new (Manufacturer's name/ model) in this state?"
Here is just a PARTIAL listing of
new firearms that licensed
Massachusetts residents CANNOT purchase from a dealer in this state
because they do not comply with the MA Consumer Protection
regulations and/or the 1998 Gun Control laws.
Handguns must meet the
requirement of BOTH the 1998 Gun Control LAWS and
940 CMR Consumer Protection regulations. Some handguns are legal to sell under the regs only
and some only under the laws. They must comply with BOTH to be legal to sell.
If you have any questions
regarding the future availability of the items listed
below in MA compliant configuration, please contact the manufacturers
directly since we don't know what their plans are.
For a link to the MA AG's site concerning these regulations please visit our REGULATIONS page.
All dealers in MA must follow the regulations without exceptions.
For specific legal questions regarding the Consumer Protection regulations
please call the
Office of the Attorney General in Boston. We are not qualified to answer questions regarding
the interpretation of these regs and laws.
Nothing from this company that was made after 10/21/98.

On May 12th, 2005 (or was it 2004?) Glock announced that they are going to offer MA compliant models. On or about June 30th, new Glock pistols were removed from the MA market due to a difference of opinion between Glock and the MA Attorney General's office over the loaded chamber indicator. News releases from the A.G.'s office are on the Glock page..
As you know, we can sell the Seecamp .32 acp pistols.

The new Les Baer Custom Thunder Ranch 1911.
Les Baer custom builds his 1911s entirely in his own state-of-the art facility in the USA, and he builds them from his own forged frames and slides that are heat treated for toughness and hand assembled for a perfect fit. Baer builds 1911s with a well earned reputation for uncompromising quality and unerring accuracy, but they're all realistically priced so they deliver outstanding value.
So, Clint Smith specified the features he wanted and Les Baer built it. Then Les engraved the Thunder Ranch logo on the slide, and gave each pistol a special serial number with
