Based on the book by the same title, Armed Response covers the
mindset, knowledge, and tactics needed to defend yourself with a
firearm before, during, and after a life threatening assault. From
learning what to ask before deciding to carrying a gun, how to carry
and use a concealed firearm, and the legal issues and implications
of using of lethal force, Armed Response is one of the most
indispensable classes available.
Realistic, defensive shooting skills are emphasized including
drawing from a concealed holster, engaging multiple targets, and
shooting from cover, as well as real-life lessons about preparing to
face a lethal threat, winning a gun fight, and surviving the ensuing
court battle. This two-day class is a must for anyone using firearms
for self-defense.

Topics include: Police protection, Responsible use of lethal
force, Properties of survival, Body alarm reaction. Reaction drills.
Armed confrontations, Aftermath of a shooting, Concealed carry
techniques, Back up tools, Stopping power/Ammo selection, Drawing,
Defensive Shooting
Prerequisites: Attendees must be familiar with safe and proper
gun handling techniques.
Equipment needed: Duty/carry firearm with proper carry holster or duty
belt, at least 3 magazines (or speedloaders) and mag holders for at
least 2 mags, at least 400 rounds of factory ammo, eye and ear
protection, brim hat, concealment vest or jacket, sweat shirt, drinking
water, paper, and pen. Two days - $300

Extremely Close Quarters Shooting
|
Most gunfights happen within 5 feet—within touching distance. Yet
little firearms training is done at this extremely close distance.
This is the zone in which defensive tactics must be combined with
shooting in order to survive—the distance at which integrated use
of force becomes important.
The class includes an overview of essential gun presentation
skills and the effective integrated use of force techniques for
extremely close ranges, engagements of single and multiple
targets, shooting while moving, target focused shooting, and
simulated close quarter assaults.

In this class you will learn: Empty hands defense techniques,
Close quarters drawing
Shooting at touching distance, Shooting while moving, Shooting while on
the ground
Prerequisites: This class is not for beginner shooters. Attendees
must be familiar with proper gun handling techniques and drawing from a
concealed holster.
Equipment needed: Duty/carry firearm with proper carry holster or
duty belt, at least 3 magazines (or speedloaders) and mag holders for at
least 2 mags, at least 1000 rounds of factory ammo, eye and ear
protection, brim hat, concealment garment, drinking water, paper, and
pen. Two Days - $300

Combat Handgun Tactics
 |
Combat Handgun Tactics is where the Armed Response and Extremely Close
Quarters Shootings classes are combined and accelerated to the next
level; true handgun fighting. Combat Handgun Tactics gives you the
skills to help you defeat a lethal assault.
From contact combat and physical skills to fighting under adverse
conditions, Armed Response 3 is as close to a real-life live or die
fight that training can replicate. Intense, exhilarating, and
realistic; This class truly distinguishes the differences between
handgun fighting and just shooting! Not to be missed! |
Prerequisites: This class is not for beginner shooters. Attendees
must be familiar with proper gun handling techniques and drawing from a

Tactical Defense Rifle
The Armed Response Tactical Defense Rifle class teaches defensive
fighting at both close and long range combat distances. Covering
marksmanship, sight zeroing, trajectories, shooting positions,
loading, reloading, transitions, use of cover, shooting while moving,
and engagement of multiple targets.
Tactical Defense Rifle is not a shooting course; it is a fighting
course! The class is fun, high intensity, fast paced and packed with
tactics and techniques for personal and home defense. Not to be
missed!

Prerequisites: Participants are expected to know safe rifle
handling techniques, proper operation, and field stripping of their weapon
and have a basic understanding of sight/scope zeroing before attending
this class.
Equipment needed: Equipment needed: Defensive type rifle or carbine
(pistol caliber is acceptable), tactical sling, at least four rifle
magazines (the more the better), magazine holders, chest rig or any other
method to carry at least 3 rifle magazines, at least 1,500 rounds of
factory rifle ammunition. If optic is used, back-up iron sights are
strongly suggested. Defensive handgun and strong side holster (tactical
holster is better than CCW holster but not required) at least 3 pistol
magazines, magazine holders for at least 2 pistol magazines, at least 300
rounds of factory pistol ammunition, eye and ear protection, brim hat,
rain gear (We will shoot rain or shine), bug spray, sun block, water
(Camelback highly recommended.) Shooting mat, kneepads, elbow pads and
gloves are optional. Two days - $300

Tactical Defense Shotgun
 |
Combat gun handling, shooting positions, marksmanship, tactics, speed
loading, use of cover, transitions, shooting on the move and engaging
multiple targets are just some topics covered in the Armed Response
Combat Shotgun class. From close quarters engagements to using the
shotgun as a long range weapon, this class teaches you how to get the
most from one the most effective defensive tools available.

Prerequisites; Participants are expected to understand operation of
their weapon to demonstrate safe gun handling techniques.
Equipment needed: Duty/defensive shotgun – pump or semi-auto,
sling, 300 rounds of factory 00 buckshot, 30 rounds of factory slug
ammunition, duty/defensive handgun and strong side holster or duty belt,
50 rounds of pistol ammunition, eye and ear protection, rain gear (We will
shoot rain or shine), bug spray, sun block, water (Camelback highly
recommended), shooting mat, knee pads and elbow pads are optional. One day
- $175
